Being part of the community and living as independently as possible are among the most important values and goals shared by people with disabilities, their families, and advocates. A home of one’s own – either rented or owned – is the cornerstone of independence for people with disabilities. However, across the U.S. people with disabilities, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), face a severe housing crisis. Jamies Angels On Move is focused of helping these families in need.

On September 28, 2019, Jamie’s Angels on the Move, Inc. launched its annual Community of Angels Grief Support Breakfast. The Community of Angels Grief Support Breakfast provides a supportive social platform and dining experience for those who have lost loved ones. The breakfast will take place in selected communities throughout metro Atlanta, Georgia.

On November 23, 2019, Jamie’s Angels on the Move, Inc. launched its annual Feeding Families Thanksgiving Dinner. The Feeding Families Thanksgiving Dinner will always feed those that have the least but deserve the most. The Feeding Families Thanksgiving Dinner will take place in selected communities throughout metro Atlanta, Georgia.
