MS. JAMIE KNOX

Jamie's Angels On The Move was founded by Ms. Jamie Knox, who passed away in 2016 at the tender age of 19. Jamie's Angels On The Move, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization, headquartered in metro Atlanta, Georgia. Jamie's vision for Jamie's Angels was foreseeing a future where the possibility, opportunity, and dream of all people, especially those with special needs, are brought to fruition.

She shot into the world, determined to make her presence felt. She had a way about her. At the age of 2 years old, Jamie was diagnosed with brain cancer. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was one of God's angels placed on this earth to leave a lasting impact on everyone she touched.

Jamie's beauty, charm, and independent spirit meant that we were all wrapped around her little finger from the very beginning - as were so many others. In short, she was bursting with life, vitality, and passion. Her smile could melt the hearts of those around her. She will always be fondly remembered by her parents Monica Woodard Knox and James Knox.
